The rules that keep us fair.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and My Library App ("we", "us"), operated by Mannu Yadav from India. By creating an account, joining a library, or using any part of our service, you confirm you have read and accept these Terms.

If you're using the app on behalf of a library or institution, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

• You must be at least 13 years old, or have a parent/library owner consent on your behalf.
• Provide accurate information and keep it updated.
• Keep your login credentials private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Students

You can join a library using its code. Once joined, that library's owner can see your attendance, seat assignments, and tickets — same as if you signed a paper register. You can leave a library at any time.

Library owners

You are responsible for accuracy of your seat layout, fee structure, announcements, and student roster. You agree to use student data only for legitimate library operations and to comply with applicable data-protection laws.

Library owners may subscribe to a paid plan. Plans, pricing, and trial terms are shown clearly in-app before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Students do not pay anything to use the app — fees, if any, are between the student and their library.

Don't:

• Misrepresent your identity, role, or institution.
• Mark fake attendance, manipulate timers, or game any system.
• Upload illegal, harmful, defamatory, or copyrighted content you don't own.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to break the app's security.
• Use the platform to harass, dox, or harm anyone.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules. Serious violations are reported to authorities.

The app, brand, design, code, and content (other than what you upload) belong to My Library App. You retain ownership of content you upload but grant us a limited license to host, display, and process it solely to operate the service.

We are early. Features will change, improve, and occasionally retire. We will give reasonable notice for material changes. We may also update these Terms — when we do, we'll bump the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you in-app.

The service is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — and never less than ₹1,000.

We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, or for issues caused by misuse, third-party services, or events outside our reasonable control.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of India. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
